Starting a new exercise program is not easy. Sticking to one is even harder.

We all lead very busy lives. Add that to a lack of motivation and skipping a workout becomes easier and easier to do.

The problem is this can lead to a very vicious cycle that spirals out of the control.

And the less you workout, the less you will feel like working out.

Eventually you will start to look at working out as more of a chore and something you hate doing.

Having a workout buddy is also a great way to hold yourself accountable. You are less likely to miss a workout when you know there is someone expecting you to be there.

Some people hate going to the gym because they are embarrassed to workout in front of other people.

This is especially true for those who are extremely overweight.

If you are uncomfortable going to the gym, don’t force yourself.

Just turn on your mobile device and follow along. The great thing about these types of workouts is you can do them from absolutely anywhere.

Start With Just 15 Minutes

Another big reason people avoid working out is because they don’t have enough time.

Listen, we totally understand.

Sometimes your life is so demanding that finding time to workout out seems impossible.

The good news is you don’t need a lot of time to get in a good workout. As a matter of fact all you need is 15 minutes.

And while 15 minutes doesn’t seem like a lot of time, you should still put it on your schedule like you would any other important appointment.

These 15 minutes have to be nonnegotiable.

Even if you just walk in place at home for 15 minutes, you have to make the commitment to do it everyday.

You don’t have to workout for hours on end to get amazing results. You do however have to be consistent.

Just Do Something

A lot of people hate working out because they overcomplicate everything.

At some point you just have to get up and do something. Just get started.

You will never know what you like, or don’t like, if you don’t get out there and try something.

We understand that there is a lot of fitness advice floating around the internet. So much in fact that you can become paralyzed with information overload.

If you jump around from program to program you will never get results.

When all else fails, just do something. It doesn’t really matter what it is.
